Our Story

Chambers Bespoke Tailors began in 2003 when founder Everton Chambers brought his Caribbean born talent and lifelong passion for craftsmanship to London. His journey into tailoring started much earlier, at just fourteen years old, when master tailor Winston Kennington invited him to learn the trade. What began with carefully hand sewn buttonholes soon progressed to pockets, full garments and, eventually, beautifully made womenswear.

Those formative years shaped Everton’s gift for precision and ignited a deep love for the craft. In his early twenties he continued his training in London, refining his techniques and expanding his skills. His dedication to excellence naturally grew into a desire to build something of his own.

In 2003, he opened the doors to Chambers Bespoke Tailors. What started as a small boutique has become a respected and thriving business in the heart of Wimbledon Village. Over the years, Everton has had the privilege of serving high profile clients including Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, Luke Young and John Lodge, each drawn to the meticulous attention to detail that defines his work.

Today, Everton leads a team of exceptionally skilled tailors and seamstresses, many of whom have been with him for more than a decade. Together, they continue to uphold the craft he began learning as a young teenager: tailoring that honours tradition, embraces excellence and celebrates the unique confidence that comes from a garment made to fit you perfectly.
